IN LOVING MEMORY

On the 24th June my darling beloved husband Ernie passed away in my arms.

I have never felt such pain in my life, and at the moment cannot focus on anything except just getting by each day. I have lost my zest for life and art, and just hope that this ache in my heart will go away, so that i can at least face the future without him.

Here is the last photo of Ernie taken at his 65th Birthday party, on the 22nd May 2009, which he celebrated along with our Grandson Bobby, who was 13 years old that same day.

GOD BLESS YOU ERNIE, and I hope that we will meet again one day my precious.

I am so sorry, Margaret. I know there are no words that will help you at this moment. Only God and time can heal the hurt. You will be in my prayers.
God Bless You,
Diane

As you know, Margaret, I feel so very privileged to have met Ernie last year. He was a quiet, gentle, polite man (handsome too!)and this photo of him and Bobby is a wonderful memory of happier times. I cannot begin to imagine how you must be feeling now - the pain must be unbearable but I do believe you will meet again one day and meanwhile I know that Ernie would want you to take some comfort in the love that is being poured out from all your friends everywhere. You are constantly in my thoughts. God bless you xxxxxx

It was with deep regret that we learnt of Ernie's passing. Thru you we had come to know him well.

I hope that the pain and loss you no doubt feel will soon ease, although I know it will be impossible to get over it completely. I hope that you will find a place for art as I think this could help to overcome your feeling of loss.

My thoughts are with you - John

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I wish I had words to help with your grief. In time, you might find your art works as a healing therapy. I know it did when I lost my daughter. Until them, I pray that the angels wrap you in love.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard it is...I've walked your journey. I lost my first husband suddenly when I was in my early 30's. Our son was only 1 year old. At times it seemed that I wouldn't find the will to go on, but my faith helped me survive. My life is very different from what is was back then....but the love I felt for him lives on in my heart and in our child and he is always in our thoughts. I know he watches over us both as your sweet Ernie does with you.

I know this sounds so cliche but it's true... "time heals".... Ernie will never be forgotten but in time the pain is replaced with the sweet memories and the comfort that knowing his struggles here are finally over. I'm thankful for the time MAMMA's groupies had to get to know him through you, thanks for sharing. Love to you!

I know that this has to be the worst pain that anyone has to endure. I hope that the good memories in time will outweigh the sorrow. Hugs and Prayers, Wanda

Dear Margaret,
I am not sure how I ended up on your blog but I believe it was meant to be....My beloved husband
died unexpectedly here at home with me and my two children on June 11th. He was 65 and getting ready to retire.
I have been utterly lost.We had loved each other for 30 years.
I put the Christmas tree up this evening and have been sitting here alone. I don't feel alone now. My prayers go out to you.
Warm regards,Missy from the bayou

Dear Margaret, I am so sorry for your loss, I followed one link from an embellisher site and lead to you. May I share some beauty that lives in our valley? Every winter we have flocks of wild white trumpeter Swans come here from Canada and Alaska. At night they honk to one another. Well one night taking the dogs out for their last time, the swans were talking, there was an owl softly hooting and a couple of coyotes, were barking to each other, it was magical. Lots of healing golden sparkles coming to you! Mary Anne

omg how times fly and how life can change course, for the better this time. 4 years ago I was very very lucky to meet a gentleman, (gentle man) who brightens my life beyond words. Bob is the love of my life, and makes me smile and laugh everyday. I never ever thought that the sunshine could come back into my life, but Bob sure has done that for me. We are travelling the world, one thing I never used to do, and I am enjoying every single minute of my life.
Love to anyone who gets to read this xxxx
